A bricklayer, also known as a brick mason or bricklayer and stonemason, is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in the construction of structures using bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials. They play a pivotal role in the overall construction process, contributing to the stability and durability of buildings.

Responsibilities:

Interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and design of the structure.
Preparing and laying bricks, blocks, or stones according to established patterns or designs.
Mixing mortar or similar binding substances to create a strong adhesive for brickwork.
Ensuring accurate measurements and aligning structures by using levels, plumb bobs, and other tools.
Cutting and shaping bricks, stones, or blocks using saws, chisels, or other hand or power tools.
Applying mortar to bind bricks or stones and filling gaps with appropriate materials.
Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
Collaborating with other construction professionals to ensure the finished structure meets specifications.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate protective gear.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bricklayer or in a similar role.
Good knowledge of different bricklaying techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Proficient in using tools and equipment required for bricklaying.
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Good English Skills, German language at least on Level A2 or willing to learn
