Position: registered Nurse for retirement & dementia homes, outpatient service

Our Client is an important part in the service community for elderly and dementia people in a town in southern Germany. They have one retirement home, one home for dementia and an outpatient service who takes care of elderly people at home.
Position Overview:
Career Worldwide are currently seeking registered nurses from India who are already in a German language course at level B1 or B2.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the health needs of elderly residents in the long-term care facility and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide direct nursing care according to established protocols and standards of practice.
- Monitor residents’ health status, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and overall well-being.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques to promote independence and optimal health outcomes.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services.
- Conduct home visits to clients enrolled in the home health program, performing assessments, implementing care plans, and providing skilled nursing care as needed.
- Collaborate with the home health team to coordinate services and ensure the needs of clients are met in their home environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in India.
- Minimum of two of experience in geriatric nursing, preferably in a long-term care setting and/or home health.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of regulations governing long-term care facilities and home health services.
- CPR certification and other relevant certifications may be required.
